About Panama City Beach Tourism Services

Panama City Beach

Panama City Beach Tourism Services opened their doors in July 2008, and fast became one of the premier resources for Panama City Beach tourism including group, leisure and business travel.

Debi Knight, President, started the company after many years in the travel and tourism industry.  Spending eight years in hotel/resort management and sixteen years as the President/CEO of the Greater Panama City Beaches Chamber of Commerce, it became a dream come true to assist visitors and companies with their travel needs, experiences and new adventures. “I have been fortunate to live in a beautiful destination that everyone wants to visit,” states Knight.  “Working with great people, businesses, and a community I love has been extremely rewarding.”  “Knowing the Northwest Florida region, local area chambers of commerce, Panama City Beach attractions, parks and highlights is also a plus.”

“Panama City Beach has so many unique and wonderful things to offer and experience. Serving as the second drive destination in the State of Florida and having the first “Green International Airport” in the country under construction is phenomenal.”  The New Northwest Regional Airport is scheduled to open in early 2010 and will make the Panama City Beach area more accessible than ever thanks to four Southwest Airlines gateways providing non-stop flights to/from Baltimore, Houston, Nashville and Orlando.

Ms. Knight’s past accomplishments include winning prestigious awards throughout her years with the chamber:

2003 – Chamber of the Year Award, presented by The Florida Association of Chamber Professionals.

2003 – Florida’s Chamber Professional of the Year, presented by The Florida Association of Chamber Professionals.  The award is presented to a chamber professional for outstanding accomplishments.  Selection criteria include finances, communications, legislative action, membership services, leadership and growth.
